“Handcrafted stationary of the highest quality for discerning customers.” Our goal was to create a classic e-Commerce experience that exemplified ease of use for a diverse audience.

We started with a clean grid with ample padding seen in the wireframes below that were shared early in the process with the development team. These designs outlined the contents for each page of the site, and allowed for an open discussion of functionality for each module.

The Story — Over ninety years ago, Flora (Mrs. John L. Strong) began selling social stationary out of her sister’s trousseau shop on the Upper East Side of Manhattan.

The pieces that Mrs. Strong designed were held to the highest standards of quality and style, and were designed to reflect the personality of each sender.

In addition to an updated web presence, the brand was also in need of hero images to showcase their products in different settings.

So a photographer was called; a photoshoot was scheduled; and a lean team of 3 people (art director, photographer, and client) together, produced all the images needed for the new site.
