A day of drawing and discovery in Chicago.

My first trip to the Garfield Park Conservatory in Chicago. A beautiful place for discovery and meditation. I spent one hour sitting on a bench drawing this scene in front of the Palm Room. The combination of light bricks and organic green shapes of the leaves has inspired some other work that I’m making.
