Art-making with a (vast) variety of buoyant personalities.

This summer, I was fortunate enough to teach (2) Art Camps at Anderson Arts Center. The first week was “Animals in Art” for the 6 – 9 year olds. A group of 20 wildly opinionated students. Then, two weeks later, I had the pleasure of meeting 6 adventurous artists aged 13 – 17 years old.

It was magical to see their attention to detail and color choices. These drawings were displayed on the wall, where the students proudly pointed theirs out when their parents came to pick them up for the day.

Many of the students made great friend-connections, and in true summer tradition, vowed to stay in touch after the class had finished.
