The Racine Art Museum, located at 441 Main Street, is known for its celebration of craft and boasts the title of being “America’s Home for Contemporary Craft”. Inside, they curate truly impressive works that evoke a conversation of both narrative and process. When I say “narrative”, I am referring to the visual story that the artist has created on the surface of the piece, and “process” refers to how they created the piece, what materials, how did they apply color, lines, etc.
